The Bertarelli Foundation

The Bertarelli Foundation was created by the Bertarelli family as the organisation for managing their philanthropic interests globally.

Established in 1998, the Foundation focused initially on healthcare and expanded in 2008 to bring together the family’s philanthropic initiatives in many other fields, such as life sciences, environment, culture, education and sport.

The Foundation encompasses the family’s heritage and values. Driven by their common entrepreneurial spirit, every member of the Bertarelli family is conscious of the opportunities that their fortunate position gives them to invest time, energy and wealth into activities that can make a difference to those in less privileged situations.
